Our Story

God began working in the hearts of many individuals from Central and North Central Kansas in 2018-2019.  These individuals were made aware of the horrible crime of sex trafficking.  They began to pray, talk and meet together.  They researched and educated themselves, knowing they wanted to do something.  They wanted to make a difference.  Most of all they agreed that the only hope a victim of sex trafficking has, is found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  With that core belief, Next Step Ministries was founded in 2019.  Our goal is to share the saving grace of Christ, with women who desire to be free from the bondage of sex trafficking.  God has led Next Step Ministries endeavor from its beginning.  He has shown us time and again that HE is our provider. 

We held our first annual banquet in fall of 2019 to begin awareness in the community and seek support of the ministry.  Through many prayers and direction from the Lord we were graciously blessed with the donation of a home for our dwelling place program in 2021.  We are currently in the process of renovating our home and the goal is to have it completed in 2024.
